Hi awesome readers, thanks for taking time to ask questions about Cellulite Gone by Joey Atlas.

I know you have pressing questions such as how can I get rid of cellulite naturally, do coffee scrubs reduce cellulite? I promise to do my best to satiate your thirst to these questions. What’s cellulite?  Cellulite is the non-inflammatory pathology of subcutaneous cells affecting over 80% of post-pubertal females.  The reasons for the formation of cellulite include genetic factors, hormonal disturbances, and disturbances of lymph and blood circulation, dietary habits, psychological factors, pregnancy, sedentary lifestyle and alcohol.1

What can you do about cellulite?  Since cellulite is caused by large amounts of alpha 2 and beta-adrenergic receptors in the hips and thighs of women, possible solutions for the elimination of cellulite includes surgery and using natural methods. One of such is Cellulite Gone by renowned fitness expert, Joey Atlas.

However, if you are someone who isn’t too keen on performing exercises, but desperately wants to remove your cottage cheese, there are other natural methods to getting rid of this problem.

This leads to the question: “how do you get rid of cellulite naturally?”

Below are natural remedies that help to balance the connective tissue/fat in the body and address the underlying problem.

1). Dry brushing:

While this is one natural remedy that might not have scientific backing; either way, it helps stimulate blood and lymph flow in the body. To dry brush, brush toward the heart. Begin at your feet, moving up the legs on both sides, then work from the arms to your chest. On your stomach, brush counterclockwise.

Remember: Don’t brush vigorously. Your skin should be stimulated, not left irritated and red. It’s recommended that you do it daily and should be done in the shower before turning on the water. Plus, don’t get the brush wet.

2). Consuming gelatin:

According to Nourishing Traditions, health benefits of gelatin includes: gelatin supports skin, hair and nail growth; it’s good for joint and aids recovery, improves digestion, and rumored to help improve cellulite. One theory is that the reduction of gelatin containing foods in diets has led to an increase in cellulite as we don’t have the necessary building blocks for healthy connective tissue.

3). Kettlebells:

Kettlebells increase blood flow to the hips, thighs, buttocks, and stomach areas. The increased blood flow to these areas can help remove cellulite.

Other natural remedies for removing cellulite include Omega-3s, detox baths, balancing hormones, moisturizing naturally, and coffee scrubs.

Do coffee scrubs reduce cellulite?

Technically they can, but only as a temporary solution. Coffee scrubs tend to lessen the appearance of cellulite. However, I must warn you- the effect is short-lived. The scrubbing motion stimulates circulation, and the caffeine temporarily tightens the skin to give it a smoother look. (And FYI, coffee grounds can block your pipes, so don’t use them in the shower unless you seal the drain).

To experience long-lasting results, pair a caffeine product with one that contains retinoid (or find a product with both); studies have shown that retinoid boost collagen production in the skin. Alternatively, choose a cream that contains retinol or retinyl palmitate, and you might notice a difference after 12 weeks.
